Science – Home Learning

Here are two different websites that you can access for free to develop your Science skills at home. Will you learn more about plants and animals, explore solids, liquids and gases or study forces and motion? BBC Bitesize

Using the link below, you can learn interactively about a range of KS2 Science Topics such as:

  • The Living World
  • The Human Body
  • Materials
  • Forces and Motion
  • Light and Sound
  • Electricity
  • Earth and Space

There is also a game called ‘Earth Squad, Go!’ where you can apply your scientific learning to help the Earth Squad explore the world’s habitats.

Education City

Your teachers here at St Joseph’s are always checking your progress in Education City, and we would love to see you having a go at some of the Science activities. Just click the link below and log in using your username and password. Then click ‘Subjects’ and select ‘Science’. Once you have chosen your Year Group, the choice is yours! Will you check your science knowledge in the ‘Activities’ section, learn something new using the ‘Learn Screens’ or test yourself in the ‘Assessments’ section? Pob lwc!
